What makes me different from other DJs?
First things first: There are other high-quality, professional DJ's out there, and I've been blessed to get to know a few. This is not the part where I tell you that I'm the only game in town! However, I try my best to set myself apart.
1- Sole Operator
My "company" has never had an intra-company miscommunication. I'm the only person you talk to from start to finish, and I myself am your DJ, not one of my employees or a sub-contracted DJ. You're not hiring a company, you're hiring Eric Gambardella to take care of you personally from beginning to end.
2- Above Average Equipment & Expertise
I have top-of-the-line equipment and I know how to use it. The only thing worse than a DJ with cheap speakers is a DJ with nice speakers that doesn't know how to make them sound their best! My computers, soundboards, wireless microphone systems, and speakers are not "entry-level" and nor is my experience.
3- Low-End Clarity
I always use a subwoofer. It doesn't only mean "louder bass," it means "clear bass." Regardless of the volume, from Frank Sinatra to the Cupid Shuffle the bass needs to be clear at a dance party. A DJ who doesn't use subwoofers at a dance party of any kind is either cheap, lazy, or both. "Speakers with good low-end" are not going to cut it. I always bring at least one ETX 15" subwoofer when possible. If space doesn't allow, my Evolve 50's have built-in true 12" subwoofers that can handle smaller events and spaces.
4- Musicians Ear
When you hire a DJ to also "do sound" for your ceremony you might not be getting a trained and experienced sound engineer. If your event has musicians and/or vocalists I actually know how to make them sound like they're supposed to. Not to mention I have all the necessary equipment from microphones, mic stands, direct boxes, cables, etc...
5- Aesthetics
No, I'm not talking about me personally, but my equipment! I aim to look as good as I sound, which is why my basic DJ package INCLUDES Dance Floor/Effect Lighting. Along with that I have a professional DJ booth, not a table with a wrinkled tablecloth and wires hanging everywhere.
